Video: The results of the “ReThink Study”
As a global front runner in recycling, TOMRA wanted to know what Europeans think about circular economy in times of the coronavirus – especially in the area of plastic packaging. The question of a general change in consumer behaviour in the ongoing pandemic was also of interest. For this reason, TOMRA commissioned the survey agency Kantar to ask more than 4,000 people in four European countries – Germany, Norway, France and the United Kingdom about their consumption behaviour. While there was often a transnational agreement in the overall statements, there were interesting deviations in the details – depending not only on the nationality of the respondent, but also on gender, age and level of education.
